Default Best Bel RD?

Other than the STI what Bel RD has the best K & KA detection range?

The RX65 Pro did extremely well in the last few tests.

I owned a V995 (ver. 4.5) and it rocked. It has great detection on all the bands and even had a 4 mile KA detection that turned up being a CO by the WSP with the lights off at night.

Hi Lord V,

As I recall your M4 V995 is really recent, isn't it? Escort has done quite a bit of tweaking to the M4 design. Initially the M4 design wasn't all that hot, but it now is. Let me put it another way:

Fairly recent M4 systems (within the last six months or so) now definitely perform as well as the older S7 platform. I can't go into details but PM me if you want.

probably not the best but the Bel 980 is my ultimate favorite, can find it only for 80.00 dollars or so, by far the best bang for your buck radar detector.

I agree the 980 is one on my favorites and its still a great performer and maybe the best performer for the buck.

I always run it with my V1, so far...knock on wood... I havent had any problems running the two together, zero leakage between the two. I have one mounted high (V1) and the Bel 980... overall the V1 is good if the cop is using radar constantly on as I get a way lot sooner notice...but if there is a cop using instant on.... most of the time they both alert me at the same time. Also the laser performance of the V1 is alot sooner....
