BEL STi K Band Ramp Up

I have noticed while I use my Bel STi, that the k band ramp up really isn't that good compared to other units like the X50. Now that has a killer ramp up. When will Beltronics fix the ramp up of the STi. Great performer, just needs some peak and tweaking.

Well, that's a good question? I wish Bel would also fix the k band ramp up on the STi too. Only the X50 is #1 for ramp up and V1 is #2 for ramp up, but you never know, maybe Bel will come around.

On the 9500I's audible ramp up there was beginning alert to full alert no mid range.

9500's ramp up problem was like:

1-1-1-2-2-2-8-8-8 (jumps to full alert from a weak strength)

Is the STI doing the same thing?

There now is a flash available with new software to fix ramp up on the 9500I.
I hope Belscort incorperates the 9500I fix to the STI.

Rip, that sounds like almost the same ramp up as the Bel STi. Not sure if Bel will fix the STi k band ramp up?

The ramp up isn't the greatest, Agreed, but I can live with it.

That being said it would be nice if Bel would fix it.

Apparently the fixed the ramp up on the escort, so some think they will do the same on the STi, but who knows????

I herd through the grape vine there is now a new flash which addresses the audio ramp-up issue with the STI. Escorts on line chat confirmed.

ther eis only 2 stages of ramp up on the STi1-6 and 6-9

its shocking....i wish it had the x50 ramp up...

While I don't want the STi to have the very strong X50 ramp-up, at least a steady ramp-up would be nice!
