Default Bel STi-R install pictures

User says the ramp up is no different than the windshield STi. Defiantly the ultimate stealth radar detector. Image Shack seems to be inconsistent lately, the pictures will not enlarge but I'm working on it.

Very cool!!!

I wish that the display was mounted a bit cleaner, though.

You really can't see the display cord it is fairly hidden. This is only temporary until I can figure out where I want to permenently mount it. However, it is nice where it is since I don't have to take my eyes from the road. Any suggestions?

^ Agreed, it's in a fairly non-visible and out of primary-sight area.

Would it be at all possible to get the cord to go towards "the right," as depicted in that picture? There seems to be a run of the mirror's support and other electronics there, right?

I apolopgize for the questions - it's just that Imageshack isn't linking properly.....

It seems that the display's wire could be given enough slack so as to run closer to that area, and then that trim piece used to cut visual cluster (or even also act as safety-tether for the display, by Zip-Ty'ing" the cord to its own internal hardpoint[s]) - or the wires in that area could all be grouped/gathered in a conduit-type "organizer" to reduce visual clutter......

Ya, I wish I had more slack. I am at the very end of the cord that's why it is on the left side I can't stretch it anymore.

Is it standard RJ-11 telephone 4-wire wiring that plugs into the interface module? I extended my Escort SmartCord wiring using a female-female adapter and such wiring. Make sure it is the 4-wire version.

Ya know i wonder why Bel didn't offer 2 trim rings with the new model so that you could recess both units? Make the install even cleaner.
