Default Sugar Land TX Stealth car. There she is. . .

finally found a clear shot of this beauty.

I've confirmed Sugar Land has at least two of them. Both are slicktops, one is silver, the other one is gold. I've heard there is another black one. But I haven't confirmed that one yet.

In case you haven't heard these decals are reflective only so you can't see them unless it's at an angle or hit with a light. This bypasses Texas ban on the use of unmarked cars for single car traffic enforcement.

BTW: This is the same one I blew by on the Beltway three months ago. Didn't even see him until he showed me the fireworks. Fortunately for me he was out of jurisdiction so he shut em down when I hit the brakes.

Tarrant County uses the same kind of decals on ghost cars...

The DFW airport police have a whole fleet of Black Chargers the only decals are on the side... and the lights are all within the car and in the grill...

Still a very slick car...

They are really hard to see at night.

If texas has a ban on unmarked police cars how does Houston get away with their unmarked fleet of random vehicles?

They use them with marked chase cars, to initiate the traffic stops.

Harris County Sheriffs department does the same thing.

I see a white dodge charger up in north houston all the time, just like the one you showed but in white and uses white letters on the side, very stealth and hard to tell it is a cop

No No No . . . Let me set the record straight.
Houston and the surrounding municpalities do not have the market cornered on Stealth cars. Not even close. In my opinion Florida has the market on that one. In fact many amateur casual speeders I know can spot the stealth cars pretty easy. I blew by that Sugar Land cop because he was out of jurisdiction and I KNEW there were no stealth cars operating in that sector. If I was in the zone where those cars operate I would have had that profile in RAM instead of the "softdrive.

Houston just thinks it's stealth and I prefer to keep it that way

What ban are you talking about? I would really like to read this legislation.
