I like it a lot - chiefly for the reason you listed - that you liked the elimination of blind-spots.
Plus, as you can see in that rather fuzzy pic ( not the mirror's fault, as you know, that sucker is of extreme optical quality - that was just me, being bad at taking pictures, as usual!

), I can see nearly *all* of my kid in the back.
I also really like the speedo display.

I totally agree.
I think that the interface is well thought out for what it is designed to do, but that for this ancillary display (which I don't think was its original design intent), it definitely falls short.

So far, I've not had such issues. It's a funny game, to me, to see which of my two GPS-enabled devices - the 9500i or the mirror - picks up the signal first, and retains it longest.
