Default LEO at a K band speed sign shooting KA

There are 2 K band speed signs at the bottom of a hill near my girl friends house, I finally locked them out few weeks ago.
Yesterday as I was approaching I had gotten a strong KA alert followed by my 9500I stating “Multiple frequencies detected” I immediately slowed down to the posted 25mph. As I was going down the hill a bunch of cars started getting backed up behind me because they were not anywhere near the speed limit. Just at the bottom of the hill there was the LEO running C/O KA and now all the cars behind me had backed way off.
It was a nice save for me and the other cars behind me, but it got me to thinking. Do LEO’s have any idea that we know what band they are shooting and know when they are shooting a different frequency? My 9500I tells me when there is an additional & different frequency, besides the different tone like other RD’s

My guess is ether they think they are being slick to catch RD users or they are just trying to enforce the speed sign/area better. My bet is the latter.
