Ok all.. so, first off I was not sure where was the best place to post this thread. Hopefully, this is a good spot.
Question: Where is your radar detector made? What's on the box?
The thought has crossed my mind many times. Actually, every time I am thinking about buying a new goodie for my car, one of the things that I think of is - where is it made? Where are the top/high end RD's made? Where are the low end / junk products made? Is there a correlation??
Some people want to buy American. Personally, I try not to buy Chinese. That is really hard to avoid, but you know I am tired of the plethora of crap build quality products that I've purchased from the world's largest Communist country (oh, sorry... 2nd largest... I think the state of Virginia is the largest)....
Anyhoo... can someone else please look at their box of Product X and let's make a list. I'll volunteer to compile and post a real list if anyone else cares, but I need data from others to help out.
Starters on what I know of:
Valentine 1: Made in USA - *I THINK* (not on my V1 and cannot find the box to verify)
Bel STi: Made in Canada
