Rumor is it should be available by summer. However the Escort reps are consistently saying:
Currently the USB port is only used internally.We have no time line on when these functions will be available, but our engineers are currently working on them. We will announce any new capabilities on our website.
Some tests have been made, and the USB is fully functional. Windows even recognizes it for what it is in the USB connection and new device is detected. The display on the 9500I even reads USB when you Hold the MARK and BRT button down then apply power. after a few secs it will show USB. If i recall, it will also show USB when powered up via the USB and external power.
Anyone else herd similar comments/rumors? Hopefully Escort will get this all sorted out by the end of summer or a hacker/programmer can figure this thing out.
