It seems, from
IRCMUSA's IR-videos, that the top laser-detectors, with the exception of perhaps the ZR3 and her sisters/cousins, all incorporate some form of optical collimator at the receiver.
I wonder if the 9500i uses this, too?
In any case, although I have no way of specifically comparing the laser sensitivity of the 9500i versus the V1, what I can say for certain is that the 9500i certainly seems to be more laser-sensitive than the x50 that it replaces as Escort's top-flight/flagship model.
Unfortunately, this seems to have come at a severe cost of increased laser-falses.
