This is not a personal attact but just informing the members here what the real price of the lpp is and what it is not.

2 head lpp cost me $799 (real retail price)

Not the $849.99 that DMI (US LPP Rep.) charges it customers

Again this is not a personal attact just telling the factual truth.
Just want to clarify a few things, also in line with "factual truth" as you mentioned.

1. Alex is not the U.S. rep. He is the Canada rep. Anyone who doesn't believe that should look at Laser Protector's website for themselves, under the Distributors tab. A link is Here.

2. Due to some of the traffic on this subject, we looked into this issue a bit further and learned that Alex is not authorized to sell into the U.S. If he is doing that then he is violating his agreement with Laser Protector. Likewise, we are not authorized to sell outside the U.S., though our agreement is with Laser Protector USA - the official U.S. distributor.

3. Why are our costs higher than Alex? Well, I can't say for sure but I would venture that our wholesale costs are higher than his for one. Alex is a distributor. Our company is a reseller. We buy from the U.S. distributor. Obviously, the U.S. distributor needs to make some money as well or they would not be in the business. So, presuming both distributors buy from the manufacturer at the same price, then obviously that has an effect. This is basic business supply chain economics.

4. Second (on the subject of business costs), we are a corporation. We have a corporate office. We pay a lease and utilities for physical office space, etc. Does Alex have these expenses? I don't know.

5. We do offer a discount on the LPP products for RR.net members. We also provide free shipping as standard for continental U.S. orders. To this point, we should post something in our sponsor section of the forum about this to make it more public, and I'll take care of that shortly. But basically, you enter a coupon code (RRNET) during checkout. The discount is 10% on any item listed under our "Laser Defense" category. This brings your cost down to $764.99 for a dual head unit and $449.99 for a single head unit. Add the free shipping into the equation and I believe we offer a better deal.

6. We are not affiliated with IRCMUSA. They appear to represent another U.S. reseller.

7. FYI for any prospective buyers who don't want to deal with any of us, they can always buy direct from the UK and pay $50 shipping, deal with the exchange rate, and not have a U.S. warranty. It won't cost them anything from U.S. Customs provided the total value is under $2,500 and it's for personal use.
