 How to properly mount a Cobra Radar Detector?
I had a guy come up to me the other day while hanging out at a buddies place. He had his cobra mounted behind his "Metal" windsheild wipers? What is up with these people? Haven't they ever used a cellphone? Don't they understand what Metal does to RF signals? Some people amaze me. Then he want's to know why he isn't getting all the range he can i bet. Thats the funniest part. I shot him with laser, and showed him the difference in being improperly, and properly mounted. It made the difference of picking it up with my v1 5 ft on the dirt infront of my bumper midwindsheild, and not picking it up at all in his truck. Even though the v1 is a better laser detector than a cobra by far, atleast increase your odds people! You only stand to gain from a proper mount |
