Just found out:
"The area is a complete mess after hurricane Ike. Only about 500,000 people have power in houston out of 4.1 million right. Gas shortages and food shortages throughout the entire city. Most of the homes up in this area were hit very bad, we had the eye of the storm go right through this area and also had a tornado rip through this point. Most of the homes have trees inside the home, a complete mess.
Due to the conditions in Houston and the surrounding area we have delayed this laser jammer test until further notice. Sorry to dissapoint everyone but with the shortage of gas and all the recovery efforts going on here in Houston, feel that it would be best for everyone to reschedule. I myself have suffered damage to my home and car from the storm as well.
Will keep everyone updated once the city calms down and returns back to normal to reschedule this event. Hope everyone can understand." |
