I've had my V1 for several years, and this has never happened to me, until recently....

I got caught speeding a few months ago. A paddy-wagon was behind me at a light, I couldn't see his lightbar. So, I took off...
I accelerated faster than him off the line
so he wasn't exactly driving
my speed, but he was driving
with me He pulled me over and gave me my exact MPH, the V1 didn't detect anything.
A few days ago, I was cruising around and saw a speed trap. Again with the paddy-wagon, he was dead on me I know it, but the V1 didn't detect anything. Luckily I wasn't speeding that time. Most cruisers sit with their radar on around here. I have a feeling this paddy-wagon had something on, but I could be wrong.
Both instances were within 25 to 100 feet.
My V1 is mounted in an odd position...

In the same area, I detect radar from the cruisers, but not the paddy-wagon. Laser? But doesn't the V1 detect laser?
