Default Re: Question about mounting a laser jammer on a Hummer H3

I'd like to thank everyone for their input and suggestions. After reading through the posts I contacted a couple of the companies listed and I have a couple of more questions.

Laser Interceptor said their product would provide the coverage needed with a 2 head system, I'm a little skeptical buying the setup because I don't want to find out I need 3 heads after I install it because the price would end up being about $1000. I've also read about alot of the problems they had earlier in the year and it makes me a little leary, however the guy I spoke with at the company was extremely helpful and did give me good feeling about the product.

The people at LPP thought 2 heads might work but said it may take 3, again upgrading to 3 heads now puts me at $1000. The people at LPP were also extremely helpful and also gave me a good feeling about their product.

The last product was the Blinder M45 and I know it's a different type of jammer but I'm trying to check all of my options. The person I talked to about this product thought the four heads should work pretty well. Once again the people at Blinder were also extremely helpful and gave me a good feeling about their product.

Basically I'm at this point: Do I try the Laser Interceptor and hope it runs problem free, and hope two heads work (because I really don't want to spend $1000 on a jammer)? Or do I try the LPP and hope I can get by with 2 heads (once again because I don't really want to spend $1000)? Last but not least do I go with the Blinder and see what happens, maybe add a little G4 to the front end.

I don't think the front of the Hummer is as wide as alot of people think, it's actually built on the Colarado frame and it's fairly narrow. I had an H2 and I could not pull it in the garage because it was so wide, with the H3 I have 6" on each side of the mirror when I pull in (I have a two car with a center piller).

I'm also replacing my RD because I'm not happy with RX65. I'm thinking about the STI driver, Escort 9500i, or the Valentine 1. If anyone has any input on this issue please let me know. Once again thanks for everyones help.
