Any news on this yet? I called Bel/Escort up today. The guy (who they call a customer service rep) pretty much gave me the same push backs as have been mentioned earlier in this thread nor was the ramp up issue acknowledged or confirmed. I'm not paying $60.00 for a week without my STi and then get it back with a note saying "works fine, no problems with the ramp up". (Thanks Virus for being the sacrifial lamb...you did a great service here.)

If the STi had the V1's arrows and audio ramp up and the 9500i's GPS functionability, it would be the perfect RD IMO.
